Transfer of monies from overseas to Thailand

I too did a transfer this morning about the same time. Rate 40.509. Bloody rate shot up
mid morning to 40.70 and more!
Money in Kasikorn just after 2pm

Yes that's a bummer Nick for sure, but you pay's your money and you takes your chances.
I make a point of not checking the rates after a transfer, and also never look at flight prices after I have booked them. It avoids a possible rise in blood pressure, if I do not like what I see.

Arranged 2 transfers at 6.30am this morning from TRANSFERWISE. One from a borderless account -money held on account (not my account) to Krungsri. Will apparently arrive tomorrow. The 2nd was a straightforward transfer with money transferred from my UK bank account to Transferwise. Arrived in Kasikorn at 11.13am

Would not be much use however if needed for Immigration purposes. Place of origin not shown.

TransferWise has been slow for me today, arranged my usual transfer of Soc Security to my Bangkok Bank account when notified it had been paid to TransferWise about 5:00 a.m. this morning, usually it is deposited into Bangkok Bank at 2:00 p.m. same day. So far nothing today, looks like tomorrow now.

I transferred some money from UK, yesterday mid afternoon. Transferwise said in your bank in 21 hours i.e. 14.00 this afternoon. Nothing. Received another email from Transferwise today saying would be in my bank tomorrow, 3rd July. I guess a clearing house or bank was/is on holiday yesterday or today. It will be here tomorrow.

Did exactly the same, and also received a mail apologising for the delay, and saying the funds would arrive 3rd July.
Excellent service as always from Transferwise.
