Didnt realise computers had them too!
This has been an introspection for me for some time, that bank computers have holidays.Obviously they do when you transfer money![]()

I hope it was promptly returned! We just finished a 6 week tour in Italy and France, and our Wise debit card/euros was very useful, accepted everywhere. Can even use it on trams/buses/trains in many citiesI would say safe.............................but not as safe as the way that UK bank deposits are guaranteed (by the government) up to £120,000.
I am reluctant to continue to maintain balances with WISE as I had 40,000 Baht taken from my WISE account yesterday.

I have had 2 scam alerts this week, one from OFX and one from my bank in Australia--the bastards are everywhere.I had a suspected phone call today from someone purporting to be from the Wise fraud department. When he started asking about other banks I used, I put the phone down on him. I tried to contact Wise myself, to verify the call but that proved impossible.
It would be easier to get an audience with the Pope.
App working normally and no transactions have been made on my account.
I have now frozen my card as a precaution. If the call had been genuine, then I’m guessing they would have emailed me to confirm an issue after me hanging up on the caller?
