WISE transfer delays

....and I was in no way being critical of your post, it reminded that we sometimes forget how much better (most/many) things are these days.
 
Tried to do a transfer this morning and Wise told me cannot use my phone anymore and the system on phone needed upgrading even though everything is up to date. Went over to pc and worked there OK

Was that on the App, or via your browser

You have to make sure your Android is not too old a version and the App is up to date.

OMG! I get it now!. I didn't think of that because it is so counter intuitive to me, for anybody to do that. And you shouldn't for so many reasons.
There is authentication clashes using a non native OS for a start.
There will be security holes created.
All the Android integration will be bypassed.
It goes on and on. Ask AI about it. This is why Thai banks got rid of their online banking!
To stop people doing this very thing. I know it still works but Android is not designed for online web sites there could be bugs.
Formatting bugs are the worst. Online web sites lose many elements in the formatting to Android.

I bet you use Chrome or Edge browsers. Because that turns off all new device authentication. Good for lowering security to make the Wise web site work.
Note secure private web browsers will not permit this.
