GL said, "Look close and you see temporary supports on all upright poles. These were put on last night." Why? Falling over already?

Bodie at its peak had 65 salons and a red light district second to none. The saying back then was
"Goodbye God, I’m going to Bodie"

Btw I have been to Bodie 6 times AND SWMBO 1 time.:D

But you all Americans may remember this better

You sure brought up some memories and you know how to highjack a thread in still. In short been there ,seen it and done it. I grew up watching that series and little did I know that one day I would living and working in the vicinity of Death Valley and the Borax Facility at Boron California. I have visited Death Valley numerous times and have seen their original mines. I have also visited the U.S. Borax works at Boron California numerous times. I worked for at the time the Kerr-McGee Chemical Corporation who owned the mining operation of Searles Valley California They had 3 plants and I was in their Westend Facility as their electrical planner estimator. The operation of Searles Valley and the Borax facility in Boron were marrow images, because of that and my position the electrical departments were extremely close and both companies gave their approval. We had numerous exchanges of ideas, parts in emergancies and tours of each others operation and The Borax Visitor Center.
https://www.borax.com/visitorcenter/ Borax operation at GPS 35.0344839336, -117.699888878 and where I worked Westend GPS 35.7056371457, -117.393090208. I still can see those mules.

Looking good GL. Any idea of the cost per m2 of the roofing sheet they are using, I had something similar in mind for my project, and it's getting near that time.
