Online 90 Day Report

Anyway, the result is that my next report date is 12th May 2018. My extension is due to be renewed on 27th June 2018. A bit tight to do simultaneously.

I understand that you may only dome the extension 45 days before the due date (it used to be 30).

I did mine in Pattaya last Nov and my due date was end of Jan. I thought it was 2 months in advance but I think the lady who did it said 3 months

It could have changed; these things normally do here. Although it just could maybe in accordance with the whim of your friendly local immigration office.

Yes, Thais seem to be very flexible when it suits their interests

Strange though that SI now need your "bank letter" to be dated the same day as your extension application but your Embassy letter could be dated one month prior(?).

"We are here to help"

GL will correct me if I am wrong but I thought the Embassy letter was good provided it had been obtained within 6 months before the extension date.

I wasn't sure which is why I added (?).

The last time I had a letter from the embassy was 2002 and it lasted me about 10 years.

Sorry one question for better understanding: what is the "Embassy Letter"?

Verified foreign income report Franz, If you wanted to use income instead of fixed value in the bank. It is 40,000 Baht per month Marriage or 65,000 Baht per month for retirement.

Different rules apply for example to the USA and UK
And Australia for sure. British Embassy needs proof of annual income before they will issue a Letter of Income. However, applications can now be made by email so originals no longer required. American and Australian embassies require the applicant to make a Statuatory Declaration infront of the Embassy official. I don't know what other emabassies require before they will issue a letter of income - check with your own embassy if not Brit, American or Aussie.

In german it´s called "Rentenbescheid" and must also been verified by the embassy!
The embassy asks for 40 € for this! :rage:

Back when I had a letter from the British Embassy it stated something like "he has told us that his income is £****.** p.a. and he lives at ******* and we have no reason to disbelieve him. And I believe they charge more than 40 €.
