Online 90 Day Report

I've just had it confirmed that a teacher from AnubarnSurin (40 years old and until three weeks ago was unmarried (and officially still is)) has a one year visa (extension?) and is only required to report every 90 days to SI in Kap Cheong. The school transport the teacher(s) to SI when the 90 day is due to permit them to report. No requirement for them to leave Thailand.

Before our car I’ve been to KC on a mini bus filled with teachers from Surin City to do 90 day reporting. Had a nice pad Thai on the way back with them

Anubarn rings a bell. Do they have c. 5,000 kids?
Nearly 4,000 - 10 classes per year. And we often see some of them in SI waiting to do their business. Both my daughters have been in AnubarnSurin for the past 5 years and know many of the English teachers.

To impress everyone with my computer prowess, I have again quoted myself.

Those were the last of my frozen mushy peas. Time to cuck/cock/f**k up another two kilogrammes.

Exciting times for your household.
Do the cats, frogs or geckoes overlook your majestic culinary skill as well ?

On another note have you received any response from your dear friends at KCI re 90-day report ?

Is "Pending" a good thing...or did it always stall for you at that point previously...resulting in a visit to KCI ?

Yes it did always stall me at that point (once I got past the first page).

This year it is not a problem as my one year extension expires on 27th June 2018 so I should be able to accomplish both at the same visit (on 16th May 2018).

Technically, they may not accept you on 16 May as you are outside the ‘normal’ time limit of 1 month set by Surin and Buriram Immigration offices..

The book of words says 6 weeks - but the local offices have usually stipulated 4 weeks.

Going 7 days later (assuming that your actual reporting date is 16th) may help.

My reporting date for 90 days is 13th.

Last year I successfully applied for my extension on 16th May so I don't know where your 1 month set by Surin Immigration office comes from (Buriram could be different). However, I'm sure that there will be different rules this year.

[I was told (by Immigration) that the "book of words" says 45 days]

If we are working on precision...yes, exactly 45 days is the published period.

Kap Choeng were known to work strictly within one month.

The English on that stamp is just woeful. If you did not know what resilence of stay was you would think that it was a proof of life. Then you have the "To keep you stay permit".

That is an official document!

Is certainly is. And what it's doing in this thread I've no idea. I definitely didn't eat it for my breakfast.

Don't be too hard on them. What do you expect of a forgery from the Khao San Road? Maybe Rice should point this out to the SI IO when he applies for his 'Retirement Visa'.

P.S. Stamps prior to 2017 actually said ' To keep your...." and residence'.

Back in 2004 I was travelling back from Manchester and the airline (Emirates) were reluctant to allow me to board without a return ticket. They didn't believe that my extension (similar to the above) was an official document. John Bull outfits were not really all the rage at that time :astonished:.
