F.C.D Bangkok Bank account

Ok facts.
Thai bank charge to recieve 200 min 500 max Thai Baht.
Interest 0.15 .
Withdraw in Thai Baht cash ,or trans Thai Baht into my regular Bangkok bank free No charge.
Withdraw in sterling or put in UK pounds 2 %..
Withdraw today would be at 42.9 that's TT rate .
I'm happy so far and will use again in Times of up and down rates .

Fair point Alan.

Just trying to understand 100%.................. was the rate 42.9 quoted on their board or did they just tell you that..................... only asking so we can be sure that the 'true' TT rate (that is visible on the comparison website) is being given.

Thanks

I asked him what the rate if I draw out today .
Then he went on his computer and wrote 42.9 on a piece of paper

The Bangkok Bank TT rate was 42.90 at 08:30 this morning.

[Edit: Kasikorn Bank TT rate was 42.86 at the same time]

Excellent - that confirms that Alan was given the 'standard' board TT rate (and not some diluted rate).

Sounds a good product.

For me it helps if a U-K client is not sure how to send money ,I can offer this service .
They only have to do a simple trans to a UK bank and we do the rest .
Also its fast can be 24 hours mid week .

So, basically, you are in exactly the same position as of the likes of me and Yorky who have Sterling in UK based bank accounts.
