Online 90 Day Report

Between Prasat and the border there is a sign saying camera in use. If this is stationary or if they just put this sign up when on days they are using the camera i do not know. Anyway i got a pretty sharp pic of my car on that road with a speed 0f 104 km registered, had to go to Police Station in Surin to pay 500. Speed limit on that road was a the time 90 km. I have also later on visiting Kap Chung noticed that road sign in thai and english warning camera in use. I have seen those camera signs other places in the country as well, but i dont know if they move them around and only put them up on days they are using this kind of speed trap. Being Thailand, the fine came to the adress i lived at when i first registered a car in thailand in 2005 and i was just lucky to get hold of it as this house is habitated by an angry ex
I suppose I am blessed with high tech gadgets and I have a permanent speed limiter fitted to the car. As soon as I go above 90 kph it kicks in with a loud warning sound, "Slow down - you are going to fast" in perfect English. If I ignore the message I get punched on the shoulder. Boy, she has a mean punch if you ignore her, the trouble and strife that is.

Maybe completing a TM 28 and TM30 may be prudent (and thereafter changing the registration address for the car (and driving licence if applicable)).

TM 28 & 30 is immigration and has nothing to do with the car. It's the info attached to the license plate and not the DL He has had that car for 13 years and has never updated the restoration address with DLT. If he had not paid the fine he would not of been able to register the car for the next year as that fine would appear on DLT records now.

I didn't say that they did.

He needs to get a certificate of residency from SI stating his residency for the DLT on his car at which point the TM 28&30 will come into play and most likely a fine to immigration.

The point that I was making.

90 day on-line reporting at SI has either gone to ratshit or the server's down.

I submitted my request on Thirstday last (10:00) and it is still pending today (17:55).

I just tried to access and couldn't. It's telling me I have to use I.E. or Chrome only and I'm on my iPad, so I'll try again later on my PC using Chrome. Didn't used to be a problem, maybe they are overloaded with update tasks

Maybe - after the new year holiday. I still use Internet Explorer. This is the only task that I do use it for.

It is better to keep track of the rules of Thai Immigration at all times during your stay in the country, as failure to file your 90-day report can result in a fine of 2,000 THB, and can increase to up to 5,000 THB once you get arrested.

Using Chrome. Did not work with Firefox - secure connection problems.
