The water level is 230 mm (9") from our lowest floors (stoeps, kitchen and bathrooms. And it's stopped raining - for now.

Four hours later the water level hasn't risen but significantly, it hasn't fallen either.

The "big lads" took 12 bottles of Archa out of it first. I thought initially that they were expecting it as wages but they returned it after the "lift". They were probably embarrassed to take Archa home.

KHON KAEN: Large water pumping and propulsion machinery was being installed along the Chi River on Wednesday to push water into the Mekong River and ease severe flooding in areas along the river banks.

Kiarttisak Nukaew, director of the Royal Irrigation Department zone 6, said on Wednesday that the Chi River had overflowed when passing through Kudkwang village in tambon Muang Kao of Muang district in Khon Kaen. A huge volume of water was flowing into areas near the river, which was 30 centimetres above its banks.

@FERRET House in on a slightly higher part of the mu ban. So if he drove the car in any direction it was down hill. If you were wondering.

I would guess this was responsible for flooding out @FERRET. I feel really sorry for @FERRET and family. Route 24 is totally flooded too.
