electric bill

Never was given one of them...but then we don't have mains water. Sunk a 42 metre bore around 14 years ago with a deep well pump. Still going strong.

We
As does mine. Do you still have the ½" pipe for your water bill?
We still have the little section of blue pipe attached to our mail box. We have been in this house for 8+ years. The water bill is always inserted into the pipelet; the electric bill always arrives in the mailbox.

We've managed to persuade them to leave the electricity bill in the postbox instead of finding it, often sodden, after falling out of its own container. The water bill is still left in the 1/2" pipe, and is often "glued" to itself and illegible. The latter is 6" from the post box... (which IS waterproof!) We even removed the blue pipe once, only to find that it had been replaced the next time the meter was read!

3462bht today. According to the bill though it was last read on the 15/08/60 so it's a 5 week bill.

Ours seems to be 1700 each month and we use the a/c a lot in both bedrooms. This is mainly due to having two babies in the house, me and the more little one. If I didn't switch the Liverpool games off at half time it would be even more.

Still clocking 4500 for last month. Maybe I need a newer and more energy efficient air con. My main 18,000 BTU Samsung is over 12 years old.

"If I didn't switch the Liverpool games off at half time it would be even more" know what you mean. 555!

I replaced an ancient, noisey a/c with a new Mitsubishi for about 18,000 fitted. I always find maneuvering the large pick up into the bedroom each night a tad awkward especially after a few beers.

We haven't turned on either of our aircons for almost 2 weeks now. And obviously there has been no need to water the garden.

Could be less than Bht 1,000.00 this month.

I didn't notice last month that the FT had increased to -0.1590 (from -0.3349).

Anyway, this month's bill is c. Bht 1,280.00.
