Unlocked nowThread locked so all water related convo’s can go in the ‘Surin water shortage -July 2019’ thread, which has been made a ‘sticky’ thread too.
After a lot of local areas are suffering chronic problems from drought then flooding, it really highlights how non-existent is the infrastructure in this country. Clearly water management is nearly no where to be seen and they just rely on Buddha, I suppose.
Soon there will be no rain and I just wonder when people will next run out of water when everyone has pumped the water-table into non-existence.
Am I being negative or realistic, do you think???

Zero.
Correct. No need. The rains have come. Prayut visited. Problem solved. Everyone jumped the gun...................That will be the view in Bangkok, and the problem may not recur for many years.
, and the problem may not recur for many years.
Problem will recur next year. There will be a lot of rain needed and it is unlikely (if not impossible) to have that amount in 1 year. My bet is: same same next year.
I agree.I think I detected a little sarcasm in Nick's post.
I could be wrong though.
The sarcasm of course.About the sarcasm?
Or being wrong?
