electric bill

I am currently in Koh Samui, but just had a pic of the "your meter is broken" bill sent to us for this month

Visit again to PEA melon farm yesterday, this time I left my gf in the car, in fact she refused to come in. My Thai is not great, but I managed to get a meeting with the Manager of the meter reading team and explain that the problem was still not fixed. Was promised it would be fixed next month!

Later in the day (just in time for the rain) a new bill was put in my mailbox

Not only will it cost them more than 40baht to collect, but I thought you were one of those people who paid nothing at the moment (and that surely included the meter rent)

Aircon central reporting: 5,850 baht. Not too bad for a family of 4 and only part-time schooling for the girls.

I used to think that figure was OK for Coffee Corner........... for a house of 3 Thais and one Farang, I would beg to differ :yum:... That said, I fear the worst this month... at home for most of it, +1 aircon new unit + loads of builders/building work.

Ahh, shades of Bob.
